accident, a law suit against Mr. Stonecipher was filed. Teacher by day, Mr.
Stoncipher was an insurance agent by night. Therefore, he had Auto Insurance to
cover the damages to his vehicle. He had health Insurance to cover his medical
expenses. He even had Life Insurance should the worst
happen.
However, he was unprepared-emotionally and financially- to
defend himself against an unjustified accusation. He spent the next three years
and most of his savings to restore his good name.
Once he was found
innocent he started looking for some sort of coverage so that people could, in
the future, avoid being involved in a similar situation.
To his
amazement, he discovered that no such coverage existed in North
America...
His search took him to Europe where he found that since 1907
pre-paid legal plans have been available. Modeling the concept, he gave birth,
